About the Volleyball Festival
The Volleyball Festival is the largest annual sporting event in the world (- while the Olympics and the Pan American games have slightly more participants, these competitions are not held annually). Three hundred and fifty staff members administer 7,000 thousand matches that are officiated by 200 referees throughout the week.

This annual migration of families to the beautiful Sierra Nevada Mountains provides wholesome young women with opportunities to develop the competence, confidence and courage needed to realize their dreams in sports and life. Every aspect of the event is directed at promoting the development and celebrating the achievements of the athletes, their coaches, parents, referees, trainers, and event administrators.
